O VMA 2019 foi das mulheres. E isso ninguém tem dúvidas. Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande e Billie Eilish foram as grandes vencedoras, com três estatuetas cada uma. Além disso, as apresentações também foram marcantes. Confira abaixo todos os vencedores e alguns dos melhores momentos da festa.
A noite do VMA 2019 começou com tudo. Taylor Swift abriu a cerimônia com uma explosão de cores entre You Need To Calm Down e Lover, dois dos singles do seu álbum, Lover, lançado na sexta-feira (23).
Em seguida, Shawn Mendes subiu ao palco do VMA 2019 para rápida apresentação, porém cheia de charme. O grande momento veio tempos depois, no retorno com Camila Cabello, para apresentação de Señorita. Sob altas expectativas, o casal se entregou em olhares, toques e danças, dando aos fãs um romance apaixonado para adorar.
Lizzo coloriu ainda mais o palco com Truth Hurts e Good As Hell, seus dois maiores hits. Logo após, os Jonas Brothers fizeram apresentação dinâmica na maior vibe Beatlemania. Tocaram Sucker e Only Human, duas canções da nova fase.
Lil Nas X lançou seu novo single, Panini. Com visual futurista, destoou completamente do hit anterior. Posteriormente, o músico ainda faturou o prêmio de Música do Ano com Old Town Road – feat. Billy Ray Cyrus.
Em seguida, Missy Elliott trouxe os anos dourados do hip hop ao palco com seus maiores sucessos. Throw It Back, Get Ur Freak On, Work It, Pass That Dutch e Lose Control levaram o público à loucura.
Miley Cyrus não deixou por menos com uma apresentação vintage de Slide Away, com um palco clássico. Foi aplaudida de pé.
Posteriormente, cantoras da nova geração mostraram força no palco. Lenny Kravitz fez as boas vindas para Rosalía e H.E.R., que está escalada no Rock in Rio. Ambas cantoras empolgaram o público.
Nada comparado com Normani, que apareceu na sequência com a bombada Motivation. Arrebentou nas coreografias e sensualidade. Apresentação marcante da ex-Fifth Harmony.
Na reta final do evento, o público também curtiu a curta apresentação de Big Sean e A$AP Ferg, a colorida e divertida performance de Bad Bunny e J Balvin.
No entanto, o melhor ficou guardado para o fim. Apresentados por ICE-T, Fetty Wap, Naughty By Nature, Queen Latifah, Redman e Wyclef Jean mostraram o poder do hip hop passeando por várias fases do gênero. Histórico!
